These homes and cabins represent a premier segment of Northeastern Minnesota’s unparalleled tradition of lakeshore living. Minnesota Power has provided quality managed lakeshore leases to individuals and organizations for over 70 years.

Today, nearly 1,200 families, individuals and organizations enjoy the security and service built into this long standing program.

Leases are long-term and transferable. In 1992, Minnesota Power increased its standard lease term from 10 years to 25 years. Although, most of the leases existed for generations prior to this longer term, the investment security it provides allows access to a wider range of financing options for building and purchasing.
